Hello, I decided to post again after looking at this forums. The thread of Rambler, as always, intrigued me.

Sabi niya,

"1. In 1 Corinthians 15:50-55, Paul tells of a "mystery" where all believers, dead or alive, will be changed in a flash or in a twinkling of an eye. The mortal man will become immortal. "

at eto ang buong verse,

1 Corinthians 15:50-55

New International Version (NIV)

"50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”[a]

55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”[b]"

Being a Gnostic myself i believe that knowledge of immortality is present in the sacred texts and related myths.

And I'm about to tell you how to defeat death. Or overcome the idea of it. Even if we experience material death. The mystery.

Not only you broke from the yoke of your "imaginator" but by you also waking up from a dream, you defeated the concept of death. the dream which is the past and real life is you, an immortal in the future who never sleeps but slept because you were given a sleeping potion by a being which is explained in the Greek texts as Morpheus, to role play as a mortal in a sandbox called the universe.

So life is basically a virtual dream world where immortals are in sleep state and are roleplaying as mortals. Your immortal version being the "imaginator" who dreams or is imagining you in universe and when stop imagining/dreaming of you, you just die materially inside the universe which will make him wake up.

So we don't really die. Our material representation just goes into halt but our soul/consciousness disconnects from this universe and we end up waking up as immortal beings in a utopian world where everything is perfect. And we immortals just are born in this world because we are bored being immortals in our real world and we end up realizing that being awake as immortals in our real world is cooler than this sandbox called the universe where there is suffering and pain.

Anyway, I'm not back. I just want to wish everyone Merry Christmas. This is a one time post. Consider this as my Christmas present to you all.

EDIT: While there is a parallelism with the movie Matrix, the plot differs because in the movie, they wake up still in the material universe, where death and suffering are still present and they are attacked by gigantic robots or whatnot.
